Strong Team USA Showing at the World Rowing Champinoships!
A strong showing for Team USA at the World Rowing Championships in Belgrade in the last two weeks. https://worldrowing.com/ A special shout out to the Women’s Eight who took silver, especially to Brooke Mooney https://usrowing.org/sports/olympic-team/roster/brooke-mooney/363 whose uncles John and Steve are good friends and who’s dad Jim, I also know….Brooke spun the fastest official indoor rowing 2K than any women in history. And Daisy Mazzio-Manson https://usrowing.org/sports/senior-national-team/roster/mary-mazzio-manson/943 who like her mother and my friend Mary Mazzio https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Mazzio appears to be an absolute force of nature. Go get the Romanians and the rest of the field in Paris! Congratulations to the other Team USA https://usrowing.org/index.aspx members who made the podium and qualified for the Olympics; In total, the U.S. won seven medals and qualified 10 boats for Paris (eight Olympic and two Paralympic) over the eight-day regatta.
